v1.2 -- belated Big Bad Con updates and more
Hello! Since my last update, I've run Brave the Dreamer several more times, including at Big Bad Con last October, using a professionally printed card deck with CC-BY art. I was really happy with the results of those playtests and grateful for all the interest I received around the physical copy. One of my projects for 2025 is to finalize the deck and box designs and figure out next steps for production.
I also want to send some appreciation to Alex Roberts, who played Brave the Dreamer and shared some kind words about her experience that she gave me permission to post on the game page.
v1.2 changelog:
- Modified Contours adjective system
- You are now prompted to choose two adjectives that the Dream was, and one that it was not
- Modified flow of Forum questions during Contours
- You now pass the card in the opposite direction of your question, which gives the askee more space to record their reply
- Tonal tweaks to Intermission: Transitions
- Reworked the Player Safety and Support section again
- [Story Synth only] Added turn order module
